Shawn is an associate at Chsherbinin Litigation, where he focuses on litigation and advocacy at the provincial and federal levels. Prior to joining the firm, Shawn practiced law with a leading Bay Street law firm in Toronto.
Shawn is a graduate of Windsor Law where he earned a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degree. Before and during law school, Shawn worked at the Canada Border Services Agency, representing the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness in complex immigration hearings before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, with a focus on the organized crime, inadmissibility and human smuggling cases.
Through his experiences, Shawn brings both a strong advocacy background and practical insights to complicated situations.
Shawn is a passionate entrepreneur at heart, with a track record in commercial real estate investments, backed up by MBA qualification.
In his spare time, Shawn enjoys writing, travelling and playing a variety of sports including hockey, curling, golf and softball.
