Vladislav is an articling student at Chsherbinin Litigation. He recently graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he earned Juris Doctor degree. Prior to entering the law school, Vladislav graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Greek and Latin (gold medalist). In December 2019, Journal of Environmental Law and Practice published his article, entitled “Canadian Public Trust Doctrine at Common Law: Requirements and Effectiveness.”

Vladislav is passionate about employment, human rights and immigration litigation, because these areas have a very human component that is often absent in other types of litigation.

Vladislav has been involved in representing clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada, more recently in:

Surmanidze v Canada (MPSEP and IRCC), 2019 FC 1615, which was a successful injunction to stop deportation;

Taghieva v Canada (CIC), 2019 FC 1160, which was a successful judicial review of a negative H&C decision;

LeBest v ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (Canada Ltd.), et al, Court File No.: SC-19-00120003 (Ont SCJ), which was a successful motion to stay litigation in Canada in the context of maritime commerce.
